Eat the Webels

Eat the webels.....That's how Cooper pronounced the annual "Meet the Rebels" event. How freakin cute is that? We took Cooper to "Meet the Rebels" for the second year in a row this year. The event is always the weekend before classes start and gives the community a chance to meet players and coaches and get excited about the new season. Last year it was our first real Ole Miss experience and Coop was only 10 months old.....oh my baby! This year he was old enough to know what sport the players played and think the whole thing was super exciting. We met Coach Nutt, alot of players, and Rebel the black bear mascot. Coop gave them all knuckles...it's our new impressive trick. Here are some pics of our awesome outing to eat..erm uh... "meet" the Rebels.

School...already?

Tomorrow my baby goes off for his first day of school....ok well it's Mother's Morning Out. He'll only be there two days a week for 3 hours a day, but its still school. Tonight we went for an open house and met his teachers and he got to play in his classroom with the other kids in his class. He was so unsure at first (as usual) but he warmed up. I'm sure we'll have a few rough days but eventually he'll be ok with it.

He is excited about his backpack and we've been talking up all the coloring/singing/playing outside time he'll get. He has become such a conversationalist lately. He is talking in 5 and 6 word sentences and answers questions with more than just "no." He can sing almost all the words to "itsy, bitsy spider," and has started mimicking the "ABC's." I think school will only keep expanding his vocabulary and song list :-). Here are a few pics of Coop and his new backpack. Pictures of his first day will come later!

Doesn't he look like such a big boy!!!
