St. Paddy's Day!

We had the most gorgeous weather last week! Everyday was prettier than the last...the kind of weather that makes you feel like your at the beach. You know that warm yet slightly breezy weather? Perfection. We Cooper and I spent at least half of everyday outside. We played in the yard, at the park, even got the baby pool out. Thursday, which happened to be St. Patrick's Day was the most beautiful of all. We spent the morning at Wal-Mart getting some groceries and then after Cooper's nap we hung out in the yard taking some pictures. Here are a few of my favs:
After Ryan got home we decided that Cooper looked too cute not to take somewhere so we took him out to Irie for some po'boys. When dinner was over we decided we couldn't go home when the weather was this gorgeous so we walked around the square and stopped for some Ya Ya's frozen yogurt. Cooper really liked that part. I'll leave you with a few pictures of Cooper before we left for dinner. He decided he wanted to wear his cowboy hat. Everybody wanted to take him home!

The Greatest Show on Earth...sort of.

After the big snowfall we were dying to get out of the house! Ryan suggested we hit up the Shriner's Circus that had recently arrived in Memphis. We were so pumped to take Cooper to his first circus...the best story I remember about my pawpaw was him taking me to my first circus! We thought he would enjoy it due to his awe and amazement at the rodeo so we loaded up and hit the road. Cooper was immediately enthralled with the souvenirs:

The place was kind of small, but for an inexpensive, first-time circus it worked for us. We let Cooper try some cotton candy for the first time. Needless to say he is his fathers child and mommy got to eat the whole bag. Score!

The acts were okay, it was no Barnum and Bailey's, but Cooper seemed entertained. There was alot going on what with all the kids screaming and all those stupid light up toys they sell, so it was hard for him to focus on the show. He loved the dog act and the elephants at the end. Also anything with loud fast music...he likes his jams. We let daddy take him to pick out something to take home....

Awesome...but really he has played with Dora everyday since. So I say money well spent. (She has started to  deflate a bit in the last day or so. Sad) Cooper also stole a few sips of Daddy's Diet Coke... he LOVED it. We got a look like "you have so been holding out on me guys!" We figured on circus day the rules could be bent a little. We got to eat at Huey's on the way out of town and it was delish! Cooper seemed satisfied with our choice too...

The Snowy Day

We had a HUGE snow in February and it was the first big snow Cooper had seen. We had so much fun playing and trying to sled. We will definitely get more appropriate snow gear for next year..I promise.

February resolution updates

Ok well the year didn't start out super well...but who really thought it would. These are things I'm working on people, not gonna change over night after all. Ok, so here we go:

1. Be a better house keeper- I am slowly but surely making some progress on this one. The house is generally picked up at all times. The kitchen is usually semi clean and I try to rarely leave dishes in the sink for too long. I am still working on keeping the floors swept and mopped, but at least there is less clutter on the floor all the time.

2. Get Fit - well I haven't been horrible on this one. I have actually been to the gym quite a bit with my gym buddy Sarah. We have done some classes and when the weather is nice Cooper keeps me moving outside.  Could be better, but I don't think this one is a total fail.

3. Well, this one not so much. The frozen meal is my lifesaver. and I'm lazy so there's that. I'm still trying to get enough homecooked meals that Ryan actually likes to have enough to cook 3 a week and not eat the same thing every week. We'll blame this on Ryan..just kidding. But either way it a big fat fail.

4. Scrapbook at least 2 pages per month- Big fat Fail. haven't even touched it.

5. Blog at least once a week- well i don't really have to tell you how I'm doing on this because you can just scroll down and see I haven't been the best blogger. I will partially blame this on the fact that we haven't had anything super blog worthy to post about and i haven't had time to upload more pictures.

Oh well, there's always March!!!
